In this last weekend, I was driving home with a wonderful break in the country. I usually use Google Maps To guide me at home on a long drive, even if I have run that route first. This is more comfortable than a required. However, it made the best attempt to take me to an unwanted adventure task.

To go home from the small town I watched, I had an option between a fast toll route or long beautiful mountain pass that moves with it. Before leaving I togle with “avoiding toll”, thinking that the app would suggest that I would use a pass. Eventually, this best option was available. It was not at all. Instead the map suggested two extreme deviation routes, which would have taken me two hours north or south of the best route to 90 minutes south. Absolutely, I came very close to take the suggested deviation. And if I did not look at myself eagerly Android Auto Performance, I must have ended from home.

This phenomenon opened my eyes for a major problem affecting the navigation credibility of Google Maps, especially on the open road. After reading countless, drivers who work online about maps find out about guiding routes, I would say that this is a fairly wide-causing issue.
