Matt Wilender believes that Carlos Alkaraz and Jannik Cinner have taken tennis in ‘A. Different Direction’, as they suggested that the pair had taken the game to the next level in the last two years.
Alkaraz And Sinner has stepped into zero made by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal’s retirement, with Novak Djokovic soon after tennis, they are likely to follow tennis after tennis.
Nevertheless, the game is concluding after the major era of ‘Big 3’ ends, Wilnder has suggested the level of sports served by Alkaraz and Cinner has taken tennis to the next level.
TNT Sports Analyst Wilander said, “Alakraj and sinners are taking it in a direction where it has never been before, and it is not coming back.”
“The next athlete that plays tennis in 10 years is a better athlete than these people today and is better technology because it is the direction that sinners and Alakraj are taking it to every surface. It is surprising.

“I think we have to begin to understand that we are really seeing someone who can be one of the greatest players in both Carlos Alakraj and Jannik Sinner. And the other thing I really love is that they are taking our game.”
Wilnder believes that defending champion Alakraj is a preferred favorite for winning a third gradual Wimbledon title, as he believes that grass suits its game better than any other surface.
“I think the grass is just an ideal surface for Alakraj,” he said.
“First of all, because the way he walks because he knows how to slide, he knows how to stop, he knows how to slide how he is what he wants because he takes such a small step.
“Therefore, I think there is no big difference between the movement on Clay Court or even on the hard court. I think he is alone in it.
“I think if you compare with Great Roger Federer, their movement was not really interrupted because they decided to slide the grass court anytime, much. So much. So he was always on balance. So I think it’s the first thing.
“Then the second thing is in a grass court, rallies are less thoughtful in a way because you are hitting a little piece here and you are just living in rallies. And when the ball sits, you do it as hard as you can.
“So this is perfect for Alakraj because a Clay has a low pattern in a grass court than a court. I think it just suits it completely.
“I think when he plays on a grass court, he is getting more fun than ever, which we used to think from a clay court and go to the grass court because you come to the net all the time.
“We play all these crazy points and there are drop shots and small slices. I think you are looking into his eye, and then you add the feeling of the competitor that he is. He is just a pleasure for me to see in a grass court.”
