Congratulations, apple, you just caught up to Pixel 3

We all have a friend who is always late. No matter what time you tell them or how many reminders you give them, they cannot show on time. And yet, you are always happy to see them walking through the door. You knew that they would eventually reach there, or at least you expected. Well, that friend is Apple today, and the party in which it has come to the end is the basic calling features. The year 2025 can be, but I am happy to party like 2018 – if only one day.

How do you feel about Android and iOS trading features?

You know what they say about copying and flattery

Google Pixel 8A Call Screening

Pixel 8A

I get it, Apple, Google is easy to see. Its pixel designs are more fun than the iPhone, its Material 3 expressive The update looks cleaner than the liquid glass, and its overall AI experience, is well better. I am in a hurry to recommend Pixel to someone in search of my next phone, as much as I ever lived with an iPhone. So, of course it makes sense for Apple to take a calling feature or pinch from two kings. Only this time, I think I am surprised that it took so long.

After all, I was in college about some of Google’s best calling features. It introduced a call screen on the Pixel 3 series and two years later on Pixel 5 with hold for me. I was earlier jealous of one when my roommate came home from Christmas break with a new pixel of a brand, and I experienced another for myself when I upgraded to my stunned Galaxy S10, before he had actually arrived. Funny, they quickly became so good and so helpful that I almost forgot that they were there – I trusted them as if they always existed.

To tell Apple, calling calling and hold Asist was still impossible … but as a Google fan, I know better.

But now, set to set with Apple to introduce your features as part of both features iOS 26I wonder what it took so long. Did we not adequately praised Google’s clever calling facilities when new? To tell Apple, the call screening build on the base installed by Live Viselle, which is only after iOS 17 at the end of 2023. Google has comparatively, offered Visel transcription since the launch of Google Voice in 2009 – if you ask me it is quite a gap. After all, Google did not announce that its screening process was based on leaving a sound mail, so I am not sure why Apple feels that it is to happen.

I think the apple picking call from Google to add Apple is not enough as a picking call assist – six years instead of more than eight – but I am not sure that it’s much better. I mean, Google had first discovered it Gemini There was anything more than a constellation and it was still sent flagship phones with just a rear camera, but Apple was also gradually busy adding 5G support in the iPhone 12 series.

Perhaps it’s a good thing that Apple is finally showing the party

iOS 26 camera app new interface

Then, perhaps I should not be so low about iOS 26. Do I like the Liquid Glass Look? No, is there someone? However, taking a few prolonged Android features, at least I feel that Apple is showing a sign of life. It is finally looking out of its wall garden and on the other side getting a least patch of green. Certainly, those patch have been from almost a decade, but as they say, ever better.

In addition, sometimes it seems that a push from Apple is the same as the choice of Google and Samsung needs to raise their game. They became a little comfortable in this way A UI And Pixel ui For a long time, the clever new AI lets fall behind the new AI wrinkles, so I hope that from the raid of Apple’s classic calling features, both of them feel what people really need from their phone. And, now that the Apple Custom is introducing the background for the IMessage conversations, it seems that only some time ago we see that they also come on Android.

Trading features are part of life, but can we stop simplifying the camera app?

If there is one thing, I hope to see the end as soon as possible, however, this is a tendency to simplify the camera interface, as seen above. Google was the king of a long, long -based camera app, perfectly ignoring manual controls with the excuse of “Just Trust As”, and now Apple is doing the same. Everything is boiled, which you are looking above, pushing them into the realm of everything Camera control Or menu on the right side, and I don’t think I like it. I was fine with relying on Google’s image processing, but Apple hasn’t created the same reputation yet.

So, please, think twice before copying too much from Apple, Pixel 3. It was a great phone during the day, but the time has changed slightly.
