County Championship: Yorks v Essex – Adam Lyth hits unbeaten 65 on day two

The county championship collision between Division One Strugglers Yorkshire and Essex has well prepared well at its midway point after an attractive day in York.

Essex closed at 248–3 on Opening Day, but things were different when it resumed this morning, Yorkshire claimed the last seven Essex wickets for 95 on a plasid Clifton Park pitch, bowling visitors for 368 during the early stages of the afternoon.

Yorkshire scored 225 runs when he was closed 143–3 from 54 overs, with opener Adam Liath’s 65 Not Out of 172 balls.

It was a tireless performance of a Yorkshire bowling unit, which received a little reward on the first day, with New-Ball Seemar Jack White scored 3-68 runs from 27 overs.

He hit twice during the first half of two days, with George Hill and Dome Base, while Noah Thanan compiled an unbeaten 50 out of 81 balls.

Thana was then one of the three wickets of Essex, which was before being closed through his seamers with Shane Saneter and Simon Humor. Like Yorkshire’s bowlers, Essex bowlers also got well stuck for their work in difficult situations.

Essex’s innings was a curious case, revealed by the fact that he batted on the speed of speed for 278–6 through 110 overs and only one batting bonus-deficient pitch. They were actually trapped between a rock and a difficult place on a day two. Unable to attack while being unable to survive.

While Yorkshire did not run in his reply, he started more positively than Essex. Lyth especially rolled out well.

White Rose County hit three times in five overs in addition to only three runs just before noon, as the Essex slipped 273–3 in the 104th, which was more than 276–6 in the 109th. With this, Yorkshire achieved a second bowling point.

Hill claimed two of those wickets, England’s fringe batter Jordan Cox caught the back leg of 33, and Charlie Ellison caught the point while slicing the point.

Thain shared the seventh-wicket 56 with Michael paper by the afternoon and reached his fifty on the last ball, which he faced, the last four wickets fell for 36.

The off-spinner base picked up two of them. He caught the hormor in a long-on-on-on-on.

Yorkshire’s openers started their reply confidently, Finn Bean and Lith, on either side of the tea brake, shared 81 on the lack of speed of a pitch.

Both men pulled up confidently, looking a completely different player with Bean, who posted a top score of only 31 in the first seven matches.

An influential 224, an influential 224, performed a miracle for his confidence on a similar slow pitch against leaders Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

Therefore, it has been a great frustration for her that she cannot go beyond 31 as after tea, she was caught behind the foot below the seam of the snerator in the 27th over.

James Wharton then drilled the hormor’s off-spin, extending the pitch down-to hit the top for two in the 34th over.

A man who used to move forward was the rhythm. Sandwich between two wickets, he reached 50 for the seventh time this season, it is one of the 110 balls.

But the fourth leg-side struggle of stability did four for Pakistan’s International Abdullah Shafiq, as Thanan left Yorkshire at 125–3 in the 41st over. Black pepper took a magnificent catch going to its left.

Survival was the main objective for Lyth and Johnny Bairstow. By the end of the former day, he was stuck from 39th to 63. He navigated the danger of the hormor, which was excellent for 1–18 of the 15 overs.

In the early morning, the three -day wickets will put Essex in a strong position in the eighth place, while the other bottom Yorkshire will know that Batting Big is mandatory for his victory expectations.
