Danish women have to face consciousness by lottery

Danish women are now being called for 11 months of military service when they turned 18, after a change in law.

Under the new rules passed by the Parliament of Denmark, women have to join adolescent men in a lottery system, which may require a period.

About 4,700 Danish men and women of a short period of military service in 2024 – about 24% of them were female volunteers. The new rules on conference are expected to increase military service by 2033 annually by 6,500.

Talking to the current volunteer, The Reuters News Agency in the Denmark army, said: “We are more in the world situation, it is necessary that there are more conferences, and I think women should contribute equally, as men do.

“I think this is a positive change.”
