In addition to being refreshed with Intel’s core Ultra Series 2 Aero Lake processor, slightly modified del lid logo, and some other imagination changes, Dell 16 premium and del 14 premiums are almost similar to popular XPS 16 and XPS 14.
“The new name indicates a fresh chapter – a one that makes the same extraordinary quality, design and performance more easier to find the right PC,” Dell’s product management lead, Kevin Terviligger said in the announcement blog,
Both laptops are now available in the United States and Canada with prices starting with prices starting from Dell 14 Premium for 14 premiums from $ 1,649.99 ($ 2,649.99 Canadian) and Dell 16 Premium starting from $ 2,699.99 ($ 3,749.99 Canadian) for 16 premiums. There are still two color options available – a silver “platinum” shed and a dark brown “graphite” – which takes the XPS inheritance of being adequate to mix in school, college and office environment, for which these laptops are marketed for.
Dell 16 premiums are collided with the latest generation of NVIDIA RTX laptop GPU, with RTX 5060 available. The additional models of RTX 5050, RTX 5070, and integrated Intel Arc Graphics will also be launched “Soon”, which has not yet been revealed with pricing. The RTX 5070-equipped model will also be benefited from an upgrade especially in Thunderbolt 5.
Dale 14 retains the premium integrated Intel graphics and the option to configure it with RTX 4050 GPU, as 2024 del XPS 14, but can now be configured with 64GB LPDDR5 RAM in comparison to the previous 32GB maximum. It now comes with Wi-Fi 7 support, brings it to XPS 16 and New Dell 16 premium.
