No one does sleek smart rings like Oura, and while the Oura Ring 4‘s first-ever discount concluded with the end of Prime Day, select colors and sizes of the Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon and Oura Ring Gen3 Heritage are now on sale, while supplies last, at both ouraring.com and Amazon.
As the name implies, the Oura Gen3 is the previous generation of the Hollywood-coveted health technology company’s namesake product. The current discount of up to 33 percent marks the lowest-ever price for the Oura Ring.
The Oura Ring Gen3 tracks over 20 biometrics: sleep, activity, heart health, stress and women’s health metrics, to name just a few. In comparison, the Oura Ring 4 tracks over 30 biometrics thanks to its new all-titanium design powered by Smart Sensing, an innovative sensing platform that adapts to each user, delivering accurate, continuous data, both day and night.
What makes Oura so unique is its ability to seamlessly overlap fashion and function like no other tracker on the market. Offered in six finishes — gold, rose gold, silver, brushed silver, black and stealth (matte black) — the ring can be tailored to each wearer’s personal style.
Pricing for the Oura Ring Gen3 typically ranges from $299 for the black and silver to $449 for the rose gold, with prices currently starting at just $199. In comparison, pricing for the Oura Ring 4 ranges from $349 for the black and silver to $499 for the yellow and rose gold.
The ring connects with your smart phone to provide its personalized insights. New members get the first month of their Oura membership free, then it’s $5.99 monthly to receive all the available data (you’ll register through the app). Also, Oura now offers the option to sign up for an annual prepaid membership for $69.99 per year.
Since sizing works differently for Oura Rings than standard rings, the brand recommends ordering a free sizing kit, which comes up as an option at checkout. If you’re ordering on Amazon, the sizing kit is available directly on the product page. The kit is $10, which will then go towards your ring purchase when you order the physical ring (you’ll get $10 off the ring if you bought the kit, making it technically free). Note: The ring should be snug around the base of your finger, but not to the point of discomfort. It should not rotate during normal daily tasks.
