Donald Trump Considers Selling ‘Red Tesla’ Amid Feud With Elon Musk: Report

Amid the ongoing feud between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, the former is considering selling his beautiful red Tesla. The Wall Street Journal, quoting officials from the White House, reported that the US President is considering getting rid of his Tesla that he bought as part of a photo op at the White House to promote Musk’s company.

According to the report, Trump could either sell the car or give it away. According to CBS, the car has been parked outside the West Wing for weeks and was there by yesterday evening.

On Thursday, Trump said that he is ‘disappointed’ with Tesla CEO Elon Musk over his criticism of the Republican president’s ‘Big beautiful Bill.’

“Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “He said the most beautiful things about me, and he hasn’t said bad about me personally, but I’m sure that’ll be next. But I’m, I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot,” the President added.

The ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ of Trump eatures trillions in tax cuts, increased funding for the US military and border security, and new work requirements for Medicaid — while diverting spending from federal health, nutrition, and energy programmes to bolster national security.

The US president also said the Tesla CEO has ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’, a phrase Trump has often used against his critics.

Musk, in his response, said he won the election for Trump and slammed him for the ‘ingratitude’. In a post on X, he wrote: “Slim Beautiful Bill for the win,” referring to the ‘Big Beautiful Bill.’

Musk, who stepped back from running Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has been vocal in his criticism of the tax bill.

“Shame on those who voted for it,” Musk said in a post on X about the legislative linchpin of Trump’s second-term agenda. The remark marks Musk’s first public disagreement with Trump since leaving his government, after having previously called the plan “disappointing”.
