Enea Bastianini replaced the beginning of a 20th place during Sunday’s Dutch Motogp, labeled it “one of our best results” of a challenging 2025 season with KTM.
But beyond the points, it was a feeling of riding on RC16, which gave the biggest encouragement for Italian, living in at least one slipstream.
“When I am taking a slipstream, it is very easy for me to change the direction, but when I am alone, I don’t push – the bike feels heavy, so this is a problem because we are losing time,” Bastianini Said.
After obtaining a three -place grid penalty to disturb Alex Rins during qualifying, Bastianini moved to 16th position in one lap and got assistance from further accidents – 26 was up to ninth by Lap 6 of 26.
However, once it was clear about traffic, Bastianini found herself unable to maintain the same rhythm and Tech 3 team partner 16 seconds behind the Mavric Writhin, the checker finished ninth for the flag.

“This is one of our best results of the season, but it was one of the best races in terms of feeling on the bike,” said Bastianini.
“I was lapping like another Ktm When I was with other riders, initially riders, but when I was alone in the middle of the race, I unfortunately lost time.
“I hope we really find out why this happens, so we can improve.”
Bastianini led the five-radio train in the flag, beyond the pole-sitter Fabio Quartaro (Yamaha), Brad Binder (KTM), Johan Zarko (Honda), Alex Rins (Yamaha) and Jack Miller (Yamaha).
Team manager Nicholas Goyon praised Bastianini’s efforts: “I really want to congratulate Annie Bastianini. He was upset after receiving his three-grid-position punishment yesterday, as he knew that P20 would make things even more difficult.
“However, he kept pushing, and led the second group to take the last ninth position on the grid, so did well! The bike is still not right for him, but we have stepped forward, so we need to keep walking in that direction.
“A small week of resting for us, and then we will be ready for the next double header starting with German Motoogp,
