Yes, I know I am crazy when I talk about a smartphone, but my smartphone passion is how I landed this gig (this is a great story that I will divide one day) and I have been 16 years here. One thing I like to do with an old phone, which I never had (and even what I did) go to YouTube and play advertisements, reviews and other videos about these devices. A phone that has really grabbed my eye … again … is a blackberry passport.
Blackberry passport has become a cult phone
The passport was made so unique that the square was a 4.5 -inch display with 1440 x 1440 resolution screen. The passport featured a hybrid physical/virtual keyboard, which depended on the virtual rows on the touchscreen to type lower-caste letters, number and the function. If you check the advertisements run by Blackberry at that time, you will see that the company used the phrase “Work Wide” to promote the phone.

These advertisements will show the advantages of using the phone with widespread performance. For example, a commercial showed a doctor to see a single X-ray using an iPhone compared to a other doctor capable of seeing a patient on a passport. The essence of the advertisement was that ‘Berry Wearing Physician, being able to see a full imaging at a time, could quickly and more accurately diagnose the patient.

The goal is to look and feel the old blackberry, but are updated with internal components. For example, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 application processor will be replaced with MediaTek Helio99 AP. 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM will be swapped to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. 32GB of internal storage is pushing up to 256GB UFS 2.x storage. The phone will sports a 50MP rear-camera and 8MP front-facing snapper. All global 4G LTE bands will be supported.
Other models to modify may include passports and keys
Zinwa Q25 will ship the ship. The exciting news is that the company plans to offer the same upgradation as Blackberry Keon and Passport.
