James PiT will finally play his hometown PGA Tour event.
The 26 -year -old Priot, who grew up outside Detroit in Canton and starred in Michigan State, was sponsored at the Detroit Golf Club this week’s rocket classic. Piut received a call on Monday morning before he was set to tee it into the open qualifier of the rocket classic at the Fieldstone Golf Club in Obern Hills.
“It’s really the best thing in the world to be,” Piut told that Detroit news On Monday. “It’s great. Just the fact that I finally get to play in rocket classic, this is a dream come true. Ever since the program was built on the schedule, I wanted to be a part of it.”
This will mark the onset of the first PGA tour of Pio in three years. He competed in four tour events, Plus the Masters and US Open, 2022, a year later, a year after winning 2021 American amateur in Omont. But the Pot’s Tour Future – which includes a possible invitation to the rocket – was opted to join Live Golf for the opening season of the league in June 2022. Payet also fought the next season on Liv, but after finishing 47th, inside the open zone, his contract was not renewed by the hypheliers, the team captained Phil Mikelson.
PGA tour suspension of PIOT ended in October 2023. He has played mostly on the Asian tour since the end of his Liv Stint, but earlier this year he qualified for the Corn Ferry Tour’s Leakom Suncost Classic on Monday, where he missed the cuts.
