French Open organizers cancel ceremony for absent Mary Pierce

Paris – A ceremony to honor the final Frenchwoman Mary Pierce, the last Frenchwoman Mary Pierce, who won the title in Holland Garos 25 years ago, as she could not participate, the French open organizers said on Wednesday.

The ceremony was scheduled to take place on Thursday amid the women’s semi-finals at the Clay-Cort Grand Slam. The organizers said that Pierce is unable to be “for personal reasons” this week.

Pierce’s title at the 2000 French Open was the most recent in the singles for a French player, man or woman in the Rolland Garos. 50 -year -old Pierce also won the doubles title that year. His other Grand Slam Singles title came to the 1995 Australian Open, and he helped France win the two Fed Cup titles.

The French open organizers said the ceremony was to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its title in Rolland Garos and his 2019 induction at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
