Fashion legend Georgio Armani will recall two of his shows at Milan Fashion Week for the first time in his career.
90 -year -old Italian designer “is currently recovering at home”, his company said in a statement. Their recovery follows a brief hospital stay in Milan, the Italian media said.
The company said he “worked with general dedication on the collection” and would follow the Mainewear show on Saturday and Monday.
This is the first time that Armani has recalled one of his catwalk events, in a career that spreads over five decades. Last year, he said that he could retire in the coming years.
The next week the shows will present the Spring-Smar 2026 collection of its self-examination luxury brand.
Armani’s prolonged collaborative and head of the men’swear design, Leo Delorco, is now ready to offer the concluding bow.
Armani is called in good souls and is expected to participate in the upcoming show of the brand in Paris in late June.
Established in 1975, the brand celebrates its 50th anniversary next month – as Armani also celebrates his 91st birthday.
Armani, also known as ‘Ray Georgio’ – King Giorgio – has created an empire in the luxury fashion industry.
Born in the Northern Italian city of Piacenza in 1934, he studied the drug before starting a career in fashion and eventually launched his label with his late companion, Sergio Geloti.
