Even at the age of Tikokok, YouTube continues to climb viewership. While Google’s prestigious video streaming platform has traditionally pushed creators to make long videos that can accommodate more ads, the shorts format of the site is growing rapidly. This growth may explode in the coming months, as youtube CEO Neil Mohan has announced that Google Veo 3 The AI video generator will be integrated with YouTube shorts later this summer.
According to Mohan, YouTube shorts have also seen an increase in popularity compared to YouTube. Streaming platform is now the most viewed source of videos in the world, but shorts have especially seen an 186 percent increase in the number of viewers in the last one year. Mohan says that shorts are now average 200 billion daily views.
YouTube is already equipped with some AI devices, including the dream screen, which can produce AI video background with a text prompt. The Veo 3 support will be a significant upgradation, though. In the Cannes Festival, Mohan revealed The streaming site will begin to offer integration with Google’s major video models in this summer. Mohan said, “I believe that these devices will open new creative lanes to find everyone.”

The step will require some twics for the VEO 3 output, but it looks like an ideal match. As the name means, YouTube shorts intended for short video content. The format was initially launched with a 30-second roof, but has been extended to 60 seconds since then.
