After three weeks of testing, Harvey Venstein has been found guilty of committing a criminal sexual act in the first degree by Manhattan jury. The humiliated film Mogul was found guilty of attacking Maryam Haley, but was acquitted by Kaj Socola’s second allegation of sexual harassment. The jury did not reach a unanimous decision on the charge involving Jessica Mann, which alleges that she was raped by Veenstein. The judge has advised him to continue discussion.Wenstein was first convicted in New York and sentenced to 23 years in jail. This sentence was overturned on the appeal.
