Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katj said on Thursday that his country’s forces would have killed Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran if it would have been possible during the 12-day war fought between the two countries.
Katz said in an interview with Israel’s ear public television, “I think if the Khameni was in our places, we would have taken it out.”
“But Khamenei understood it, went underground to a very large depth, and broke contact with the commanders who replaced the commanders who were abolished, so it was not realistic in the end,” Katz was said.
