- Google Play Store may soon get a new download progress notification, so that users can easily monitor the app download.
- We first saw the notification in a tear earlier this year, but Google has made some improvements since then.
- The notification will list the three recently downloaded apps and games, and allow users to open the correct apps from the notification shed.
Google Play Store A more useful download progression is set to get notification, which will allow users to easily track the app download and launch new installed apps directly from the notification shed. We First -minded It was in a tearing earlier this year, but it was still a task at that time in which many elements were not worked. Google has made some noticeable reforms since then, and now we have a clear look as to what the final version can be.

Update Download Progress Notification still shows a maximum of three recently downloaded apps and games. However, instead of the “see more” button at the bottom, it now suggests how many additional apps and games you have recently installed. When a download is completed, the notification now correctly shows the “recently installed” under the name of the app, instead of showing “0% 0% of 0MB” instead.
Google has not made any other interface change in the current release (version 46.8.29-31), but the “Open” button now works. We can also confirm that once you open the recently installed app, it is removed from the notification. You can see it in action in the video below.
This new download appears to be the final version of progress notification, and Google may begin to roll users with the latter play store updates. As soon as it will be widely available, we will update this post.
