“You just have to ignore him, I think,” Yen said. “It was a bit annoying – he was also trying to take off my glasses at one point. His whole thing is just to get down from your skin, maybe try to throw you your game. But I thought I have played a very well.”

Despite being distracted, Yen was proud of his performance and said that Kabreel’s behavior eventually did not affect his game.

“Honestly, I was on his good side most of the time, so he was not really coming after me. I think he was going after more floor than anyone. He should be called like a floor a thousand times – he is crazy.”

While Kabreel’s victory added another chapter in his unpredictable WSOP inheritance, it was a stable composition and thoughtful drama of Yen which earned praise in the Poker community.

With the lining of the rail with friends and family, the atmosphere inside the Paris Ballroom was electric. For Yen, support was a real and confirmation experience.
