How a ‘brag doc’ can help you ace interviews and land a job, says recruiter

One of the best pieces of advice received from a former boss in Microsoft from Maddie Machado had to keep an eye on all his career victory.

Machao says that having a brag doctor on the hand can help you in the network and it can have a greater impact than a traditional resume or cover letter.

“There are no reading cover letters,” says Machado. “Even when I was a recruitment for so many years, I can probably rely on one hand how many times I really read a cover letter.”

Meanwhile, a brag doctor, “is the time for you to trick your own horn,” Machado says. “It is difficult to re -start the effects of your resumption and re -start that you really have ownership and really proud.”
