Google Is giving Indian college students One year free access to your AI Pro Plan, which is usually priced at Rs 19,500. The company announced during its annual I/O event, pitching it as a way to help students handle studies, research and creative work without making additional payments.

Brings in plan Gemini 2.5 ProVO3 fast, deep research, upgraded notebooklam and a good 2TB storage.

AI Equipment Google offer what is

Students will get the latest and strongest AI model of Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google. It can break up complex subjects, provide step-by-step assistance with homework and even prepare notes and practice tests. Upload an image or file and get help in solving problems.
They will also get detailed information with five times more limitations for notebooks and sources and intensive research to draw the notebooklam. The VO3 can turn fast text and image into video. There is also flow and whisk, Google’s AI video tool.

Google says that the plan is included in everyday apps like Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Chrome. This means that AI slips in general functions like email, spreadsheet and draft writing.

Why is Google doing this

A joint study by Google and Contar found that “95 percent of Indian students using Gemini feel more confident in their daily lives.” Research also states that “75 percent of Indians are looking for AI cooperation equipment for individual development and excellence.”

Who can apply and how

With a valid college email ID, students should be at least 18 living in India. An individual Google account and Google payment account are also required. Any person with an active Google One plan can use this offer.

All students have to sign up to 15 September 2025.

To claim the plan, students must go to google one or go to gemini.google/students/?gl=in and click on ‘Gate Offer’. Then click on ‘Verify Eligibility’.

Students will have to verify their position through Shireed by uploading evidence like college ID, class timetable or fee receipt. Google says this check “takes about half an hour”.

It is important to keep in mind, “Students should use their individual Gmail accounts instead of Google workspace accounts issued by the university for registration.” A payment method should be pairing, but no money fee will be charged during free year.

Google will email the reminder before the year ends so that students can decide whether they want to pay or cancel.

What is the last date to apply?

Interested students should order their documents soon and register before the cut-off on 15 September 2025. Those who remember the date will not get free upgrade.
