Japan and South Korea were one of the first countries to receive a letter from Donald Trump about imposing tariffs on the import of their goods to the United States.

On Monday, by joining a letter-post race, US President Donald Trump wrote equal words to the leaders of seven countries, putting tariffs on them which apply on 1 August.

The US President imposed more as 40% tariffs on goods from Myanmar and Laos. According to Trump’s announcement, South Africa will face 30% tariffs.
In each of his seven letters, Trump warned against any ventilative tariff, threatening mutuality from the US.
Trump wrote, “If for any reason you decide to increase your tariff, whatever number you choose to choose, it will be added to the tariffs we charge.”
In their letters to Japan and South Korea, two of two close colleagues in Asia for America-two-Trum cited long-term trade imbalances with countries as the cause of 25% tariff.
The press secretary of the White House today said that Donald Trump was making “tailoring trade plan” for various countries, which would be in the interest of Americans.
“The presidents are doing tailor trade deal. About 12 more national letters will be received. Letters will be posted on truth social,” he said.
India can also receive tariff letters from Trump today, even both countries are engaged in negotiations for bilateral trade agreement (BTA).
