Officials in New Jersey said that a 24 -year -old Indian woman went missing only a few days after arriving for an arranged marriage in the United States. The woman, known as Simran, entered the US on 20 June. She allegedly reached the country for a systematic marriage. However, investigators say that there is a possibility that she never intends to follow through marriage and may have used the opportunity as a way to travel to America.The monitoring footage received by the Lindenwold Police shows him standing alone, looking at his phone and waiting for someone to wait. Officials said that she did not seem upset in the video, the New York Post said.
Simran was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, black flip flop and small diamond-staded earrings. It is about 5 feet 4 inches long, weighs about 150 pounds, and has a small mark on the left side of his forehead. Simran has no known relatives in the United States and does not speak English. His phone is an international device that only works through Wi-Fi, making efforts to contact her more complex. Police said they were unable to contact their family in India. Authorities are urging someone with information about Simran’s whereabouts to contact the Tomasetti, Lindenwold Police Detective.
