Iran’s state-operated agency Tasnim says Tehran has launched missile attacks on American bases in Qatar and Iraq. Al Jazira, located in Qatar, reported to spot missiles in the sky over the Gulf Emirates, which is home to the American airbase of the Al-Yuid and US Central Command (Central Command).
A senior White House official, while speaking on the condition of anonymity about a sensitive issue, said that the White House and the Defense Department were closely monitoring the potential threats for Al Udid Air Base in Qatar.
Reuters and AP reported that the sound of explosions was heard in Qatar, which did not have an immediate report of goals or damage.
