Google only unveiled what it says ‘most advanced Chromebook Plus’ so far, and I got a chance to spend some time with it in front of the big release.
While the previous model has used Intel’s Core i3 and i5 processors, the new Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 has used MediaTek Companio Ultra Processor that provides up to 50 tops of performance.
The 14-inch 2k OLED display can occur with a touchscreen, while there is a 5-megapixel camera for video calls. Quad-firing speakers are tuned to Dolby Atomos, and the battery life is rated by 17 hours. It is supported by 60Wh battery and 65W USB-C charger.
Chromebook weighs just 1.17 kg (2.58 pounds), and to choose either 12 or 16GB of RAM. Port selection is also good, with USB-C, 1x USB-A and 3.5 mm audio jack. Bluetooth is 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 for connectivity.
Chromebook Plus 14 comes with exclusive AI features that will not make its way for other Chromebooks. Smart grouping looks the most clever in new features, and it helps you to organize your tabs and documents in the fields dedicated.
There is also a better gallery app to edit your images, and unlike other chrombook models it is on-device instead of sending the data to the cloud.

All Chrombook plus The models will also get new AI features such as “select to search with the lens” and the text capture, which puts you to grab and use the text from the images.
Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 Initial Impression
I got a chance to get time on some hands with Lenovo’s latest Chromebook at the Google event before the launch, and it created a good first effect.

The standout feature is a display. Rarely you get an OLED display of this quality at this kind of price, and it helps make this laptop more of the content-forth device. Fire a film on the OLED panel and it looks great, with porous colors and dark blacks.
Design-wise, this is a standard Lenovo machine without any standout-it is not going to come from a few years ago a grand Pixelbook Go, and it really wished that Google still had a hand in hardware here.

I would have to test the performance of the machine properly – and claimed that the 17 -hour battery life – before judging them properly, although with Google’s sublime claims, every chance is that it can be the most nipple chromebook plus model on the market.
Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 is available to purchase from selected retailers including Lenovo.com in the coming weeks. This will cost from $ 649/$ 599 for the base model, growing up to $ 749/£ 699 for touch model with additional RAM.
