Jack Draper has identified a “stigma”, feeling that he has faced to play on grass courts because he has named the surface he has “enjoyed the most” in his career.
World No 4 continued Wimbledon Preparing with an exhibition match against Holger Run at Georgio Armani Tennis Classic in Herlingum on Thursday.
Bazaz Defeated the eighth ranked run at a recreational matchup at the Prostin Center Court at Herlingum Club in London 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.

Prior to his competition with 22-year-old Dane, Draper corrected his grass-court game in a practice session with retired Spanish Great David Ferler. Ferler is competing in doubles exhibition matches at Herlingam, a former world number 3, Herlingam.
The British Star reached the last four of the Queen Club Championship last week, which lost to Jiri Leheka.
Draper has repeatedly expressed a desire to chase two prominent players on the ATP tour, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alakraj, who each has secured three of the last six Grand Slam titles.
Alkaraj defeated Papi in an epic French Open final earlier this month, and Duo is the top two favorite for victory in Wimbledon.
“I don’t know what I am still capable, but I aspire to be at that level,” Draper said about Alakraj and sinner at the Queen Club. “Those people who are doing the way are moving and it is changing the game. Players like themselves are going to work very hard to reach that point, it is sure.”
After his match in Herlingum, Tennis 365 asked Draper if he thinks the grass is currently the best surface to challenge sinful and Alakraj.
“I mean, yes, I think the grass is a surface that actually suits my game,” said 22 -year -old.
“I think this was the stigma of the people, because I am a British tennis player, then I should be incredible on the grass.

“I never play on the grass, it’s difficult, but I have won against him (Alakraj and sinful) on this surface and I believe it is conforming to my weapons. I think I am still learning how the most effective on this surface should be.
“Obviously, outdoor hard – outdoor and indoor hard are perhaps the surface I have enjoyed the most in my career, but I am still quite inexperienced on grass.
“So I think it will be interesting to see how I get next week and obviously for the rest of my career.”
Draper also addressed how to lead his partner Britain as the country’s top ranked player in Wimbledon for the first time.
“It seems amazing,” he said. “Many British players, a lot of British talents. I think it is really exciting for the British people for such good people in the draw from this country.
“I am eager to go out from there and work hard. I think it’s a great opportunity for all of us. I feel good, I feel before last week.
“It was good to hit the courts in Wimbledon. Obviously here is a little slow, a little better that you feel a little more. And yes, I feel strong, I feel ready.”
