The Bathroom

An even smaller space than the connecting sunroom, it’s hard to believe that the before and after photos are of the same room. Gaines’ updates strike a balance between old and new, using classic design elements and rich textures to create a space that feels timeless yet refreshed.

Outdated tile floors were replaced with the same flooring in the sunroom, giving both rooms a cohesive feel that resonates even while watching the episode. Even the white tiling—which otherwise would make a room look larger—was replaced with a deep brown shade that ties the whole room together into a timeless look.
