With the resignation of Justin Fulcher at the end of this week, it is the sixth departure from Pentagon during Hegseth’s six -month tenure as the Defense Secretary. Fulchar said that he had originally planned to serve six months in the government and after reaching that point, chose “harmoniously” to move forward. According to the New York Post report, he also emphasized what he has done as “great work” for our soldiers and the country.
“The Department of Defense is grateful to Justin Fulcher for his work on behalf of the President. [Donald] Trump and Secretary Hegseth. We wish him well in our future efforts, ”said in a statement by Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell.

Another Hegseth collaborator Quits
While three sources who spoke to CBS News said that Fulcher was “out”. But in a text message to the Washington Post, Phulcher claimed that his departure was “completely cordial”. Fulcher was promoted in April for his role in Pentagon from the Department of Government Efficiency of Elon Musk.
Fulchar told The Post that he was Hagseth, President Donald Trump and “grateful to extraordinary citizens and service members, who change the vision in action every day.”
Fulcher said, “Working with dedicated men and women of the Defense Department has been incredibly inspiring.”

Fulchar said that he contributed to review of major acquisition programs with the aim of strengthening sluggish and American industrial base, and helped to streamlve the deadline for “years to months” to modernize major IT systems across the department.
He also said that he supported Hegseth in high-level meetings in Indo-Pacific, including Shangri-La dialogue in Singapore, and participated in efforts that revised to about $ 50 billion from non-fatal line items and in more impressive defense programs.
“According to the plan, I have completed 6 months of service in the government in my country,” he wrote, called experience “incredibly inspiring”.

Accepting the departure of Fulcher in a text message for the Washington Post, a Pentagon spokesperson told The Post that it was “not appropriate” to mark Fulcher’s departure as firing, saying that former senior colleague is a “great person”.
Their departure comes in the midst of the widespread reshuffle of senior personnel inside Hegseth’s office. Since January, at least six colleagues have been abandoned, although defense authorities have reduced steps as standard infections.
It is not clear what the next step of Fulcher will be, although his statement suggests that he intends to be active in national security circles. The Pentagon has not yet named a replacement.
