The run of the two -time defending champion Katie Baulter at the Nottingham Open was abolished to the US McCartney Kesler at a dramatic loss on the quarter -final stage.
Against world number 42, the Baulter found himself above 4ā2 in the decisive set, but lost 6-3 3-6 6-4 after two hours and nine minutes.
The British number two boulter won the last two Nottingham Open titles and Wimbledon Warm-Up was on the 12-match winning run.
He played well in the first set, but took one of the only 11 break points, while 25 -year -old Casler replaced two of his five.
In the second set, the boulter controlled the back, not accepting the same brake point.
But in Decider, despite two games away from the semi -finals, he lost four straight games to lose in Nottingham for the first time in three years.
Caslers will either face Slovakian Rebecca Saramkova or Czech Linda Noskova in the semi -finals of Saturday.
