Konkona Senserma recently revealed that during the shooting of Netflix’s anthology film ‘Vasan Storys 2’, he rehearsed for all sex scenes, captured each frame, and showed them to the actors for approval. He said that the footage was then removed in front of him, a practice that Konkona believes that the actors should be a standard in the film industry to ensure the comfort and consent of the actors. Konakona directed the ‘The Mirror’ segment ‘The Mirror’ in the 2023 anthology film ‘Vasna Storys 2’. It stars Tilotama Shom, Amarut Subhash and Srikanth Yadav.
Recently, while speaking at Durex Podcast with Abhay Deol, Konkona SESERMA recalled the direction for lust stories. “When we were making stories of lust, there were seven sex positions, and we had a breakdown of all sex scenes. The sex position is a … sex position to … and with each of them, Emeruta Sabash said, she says. Srikanth- We all took frame in our bedroom and then showed them- it was the same as you are with it.
Asked what is the biggest advice to her to do an intimate scene, Konkona said, “So to act in an intimate scene. I have not heard it personally, but obviously a line that is very common and many people use it. The male tells the woman- ‘Please get angry if I am angry if I am angry.
In Vasna Stories 2, the segment of Konkona ‘The Mirror’, starring Tilotama Shom and Amaruta Subhash, which was on Vayurism. This reviewed the review for her fine depiction of lust from a female gaze.
