Sky Sports F1 presenter Natalie Pinkam has noticed “minor changes” in Lando Noris amid the 2025 title battle with McLaren team partner Oscar Piastry.
Later this week, in Canadian Grand Prix, there are 10 points between Piastry and Noris at the top of the 2025 F1 Drivers Championships.
So far this year, there has been momentum in favor of the piastry.
Piastry has won five races, three more than Noris.
However, Noris returned to the top stage of the podium with an ideal drive in Monaco Grand Prix.
Noris adopted a sensational adoption to take a pole in front of home hero Charles Lakeler,
The qualifying has so far been the main weakness of Noris in this season, which is losing to the piastry five times from the head to the head.
This is already higher than the previous year – Noris won the qualifying battle 20–4 in 2024.
Speaking at F1 Nation Podcast, Pinkam spoke how he saw a change in Noris during the Monaco weekend.
He said, “I have seen even a little innings than now, and Monaco was in the pen after qualifying.”
“Most of the driver, when they put it on the pole for Monaco, are punching the air, because stopping a disaster, you can turn it into a win. He was very measured as much as I ever knew him.
“And I said: ‘Wow, wow, wow, hanging at a minute, you are not celebrating’. He said: ‘No, no.’
“It felt as if it is a conclusion that they have talked about on their own or within the team, but not to give the media too much, fans and perhaps simply measure a little more in their perspective, and I felt it was really interesting.
“Because it felt almost like a tighten and then he was able to go out and distribute the next day. And it was clearly when the points came and they won their young woman Monaco Grand Prix, and then they celebrated.
“I don’t know, it was a subtle change, but I thought an important.”
