
A Belfast person who sent an online message to the Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland and broke the windows of a party’s ally’s office, was put in jail.
Emma Little-Pengli of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) was very scared after a post on Twitter, now X, that she used to consider moving from her home.
34 -year -old Aaron Thomas Curag was sentenced to 31 months from Whicroft Road, which was spent in custody and half on a license.
Curag had earlier convicted three allegations of criminal damage and three allegations of threatening communication.
‘Danger of death’

Belfast Crown Court heard that Curag posted a series of tweets about Emma Little-Pengli on 8 July 2024.
He also posted a video, which indicated in the direction of Mrs. Little-Pengli’s house.
In this video, Curag can be heard saying that Mrs. Little-Pengli was “threatened by her head members on her head and the people she goes to shop is telling me where she lives”.
In another video, Curag said: “It’s a real shame that I can’t upload where I am … but I hope you are alive as long as I am uploading Emma.”
Mrs. Little-Pengli was made aware of the posts and the defendant was recognized with her profile photograph. When he took oath on him, he remembered to meet in a local shop.
The court heard that on July 13, Curag was interviewed by the police.
She caused criminal damage on July 12 and posted online about Mrs. Little-Pengli, but denied further allegations of criminal damage in December 2023, including DUP Assembly member Joan Banting.
Joan Bunting’s office attacked
On 8 December, Ms. Binting left her constituency office on Nock Road in Belfast.
The next day he received a text message from his landlord, in which he was informed that the complex was damaged.
Many windows were broken in the office.
CurraGh posted a series of messages on his Twitter feed in the early hours of December 9, indicating that he caused losses.
He posted a message 15 minutes ago, when he targeted the campus: “A target ready for DU” showing two men with a GIF, one of whom was masked.

About 10 minutes after the incident, Curag posted another tweet stating that “always marks for Payback DUP”.
Later that day, Curag tweeted a heard video, breaking a window, a window with “Hi Dup Remumber Me” and an explosion emoji’s comment.
Ms. Bunting became aware of another attack on her office on 12 July 2024.
He saw CCTV, who broke a man in his office and at an office at the next door.
Curag was stopped by the police at the Rodens Park in the two -foot -long silver breaker bar.

‘Completely irrational thinking’
Following his guilty arguments, Curag spoke to a probation officer and said that after exiting the prison he planned to leave North Ireland as it was “so bloody”.
The probation officer said Curag was presented as Paranoid, claiming that telephone calls were recorded in the jail.
Defense lawyer Richard McConi Casey said Kurag needs mental health evaluation but was rejected by the defendant.
Mr. McConi said that Curag had some difficulties in his personal life in the last nine years, ending his derogatory behavior.
Judge Gordon Ker Casey said: “It is more common that for public data these days, including politicians, to be misbehaved online.
“And this abuse, as proved in this case, went well beyond any accepted level of criticism.
“It is a young man who shows a complete irrational thinking while giving clarification for behavior during several interviews.”
Curag also received a seven-year preventive order on Mrs. Little-Pengli and was warned not to contact her victims.
