Middlesex has participated with first-team coach Richard Johnson, as the results have fallen below expectations “.
The 50 -year -old has been on the hull since the start of the 2022 season, first worked as an assistant coach under Richard Scott and played a lead role on an interim basis in 2018.
Johnson directed Middlesex for promotion to Division two of the County Championship in his first season, but was re -accused in the first attempt in 2023, finished third in the second tier last season, and the sixth after three defeats in his first seven matches, five points below.
Middlesex has also lost three of its initial six fixes in this season’s T20 blast, which ranks seventh in a tightly fought south group, and has failed to reach the knockout stage of the White-Ball competition since Johnson’s arrival.
