The T20 tournament is ready to start in the Asia Cup 2025, but due to major losses for the Pakistan Cricket Board, it has become a little unresolved, which is due to lack of revenue

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the board is expected to earn Rs 8.8 billion from its share of revenue from the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) this year.

According to the reliable board source, PCB has allocated an amount of 25.9 million (about 7.7 billion rupees) from the ICC from this financial year as its share.

The board is currently expecting Rs 7.77 million from another international cricket programs and Rs 1.16 billion from the Asia Cup.

Naqvi, who is also the federal internal minister, almost participated in the AGM.

According to the inner source, PCB CEO Sumaiyar Ahmed, who had gone for the ICC meeting, participated in the ACC meeting to finalize the Asia Cup system to attend the Asia Cup system to attend the ACC meeting on July 24 at ACU at the BCCI or Sri Lanka boards.

An Insider said, “PCB met with a lot of resistance for the ACC meeting at the meeting in Dhaka, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Oman and some other associate members boards.

He said that the discussion on the sideline of the ICC meeting is not well for the Asia Cup in September as the BCCI is not ready to send its representative to Dhaka.

The ACC is currently led by NQVI.

India was originally scheduled to host the Asia Cup in September, but due to the current stand-off with Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, the possibility of regional incident is being taken to the UAE.

Sumaer was sent to Dubai to attend the final ceremony of the Champions Trophy earlier this year, but due to some “misunderstanding”, he was not part of the authorities who were on stage for presentations.

Interestingly in the expected revenue given in the budget for the financial year, the PCB has included Rs 2.5 billion as an estimated revenue from the next edition of Pakistan Super League.

The total budget of PCB for the financial year is around 18.8 billion rupees.
