The Sir Kir Stmper has vowed to “press” with the planned welfare changes of the government, despite the growing rebellion from Labor Backbench MPs.
More than 120 Labor MPs have signed efforts to block Plan to cut benefits related to disability and disease Pay to save £ 5BN in a year by 2030.
Danger rebellion is sufficient to eradicate the government’s working majority in Parliament.
But speaking before a meeting of NATO leaders, the Prime Minister said that the current welfare system was “unstable” and could not be left uncontrolled.
When asked by reporters whether he would consider stopping the reforms given the size of the rebellion, Sir Kir said: “I intend to suppress further.
He said, “We were elected to change whatever has broken in our country.”
Sir Kir said that the current welfare system “implicates people” over the benefit, and the cost for taxpayers was designed for “unstable” fuel.
He said that an estimated increase in the number of individual freedom payment (PIP) each year was “equal to the population of a city -sized city”.
“So those who care about the future welfare system will have to answer this question: ‘How do you improve that you have got to make sure it is durable for the future?”
Asked if he would be happy to rely on conservative votes to carry on reforms through Parliament, he said: “I don’t know what the conservative will do. I don’t think they have not thought they have got the first idea what they are doing.”
