Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav was named as a replacement of Shuchi Upadhyay, who was injured in India’s women’s squad on Thursday, ahead of his upcoming tour of England, including five T20s and three Odis starting from June 28.

Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav on Thursday replaced Shuchi Upadhyay in India’s Women’s Squad for his upcoming England for his upcoming T20I and three Odis for three ODIs starting from June 28. The BCCI stated in a statement that 20-year-old left-arm spinner Apadhyay, who started last month during Shin-Pirani.
“The women’s selection committee has nominated Radha Yadav as a replacement of Shuchi Upadhyay in Team India’s squads for the tour of England. Shuchi was excluded from the tour after retaining the left calf injury, diagnosed during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru.” BCCI said
The women’s team tour begins with a T20I in Nottingham on 28 June, with a slate in the second match at Bristol on 1 July. The third T20i will be oval on July 4, fourth in Manchester on 9 July and fifth in Birmingham on July 12. The three residues will be played on 16 July 19 and 22 July in Southampton, Lords and Chester-Le-Street.
