We present a cool, smooth-moving controller for quadruple guide robots, which solve important challenges for blind and low-vision (BLV) users. Unlike traditional controllers, which produce distracted noise and jerk speed, enables our slow, stable and human-motion to walk-even on the stairs. Through interviewing and user studies with BLV individuals, we show that our controller reduces noise by half and improves user’s acceptance, making making Quadruple robot A more viable mobility aid.
