Wireless, Electronic Shimano GRX D2 Gravel Group is here, and a lot of technology will be familiar to the following people with brands Recently MTB release1 × 12 gravel groups (or drop-bar MTB group, if you want) launch with an all-new wireless derailir and a dedicated hydraulic disc brake liver.

Shimano GRX Di 2 Dearelore

Shimano GRX DI2 Derailleur Mountain Bike usually shares a lot with bikes XT DI2 derailleur Because, well, they are essentially the same. Both weigh about 450 grams, give or take, and are compatible with the same category of chains and cassettes. The GRX DI2 derailleur connects to a derailleur hanger and the battery on the ship sits inside a sealed compartment inside the body.

  • Removable and rechargeable onboard battery with 700 km to 1,000 km range based on riding conditions (435 to 621 mi)

With 10–51T cassette imagination, the shimano is betting that the riders will prefer a wide, gear range instead of the gear range. Sram created waves with the release of a 13-speed cassette earlier this month, with small steps between gear, although the range is limited to 10–46T. To address the large cassette, the Shimano GRX Darelur comes with a long cage. The Shimano is imagining the group with either 40t or 42t chaining.

Officially, the latest GRX DI2 group is 1x-Only. Shimano is calling it 1 × 12-speed GRX DI2 to separate the drivetrain 2 × 12 Wired, Electronic DI2 Gravel Group launched last year,

A new shifter-cum GRX di2 break lever

Technically, it is not the first wireless gravel group of Shimano. It will be the above 2 × 12 GRX DI2 group, and that group introduced the RX825 (wireless) shifter, which also uses the new 1 × 12 GRX DI2 system. The shifter/liver combo holds two buttons on the shift paddle with a third, adaptable button inside the combo hood.

Since the new wireless Shimano GRX Group is 1x-Only, Shimano is introducing a new brake lever that matches the current RX825 shifter, but without shifter control, so that the riders can save a little weight (and money). Unfortunately, there does not appear to have an integrated liver option for riders who are running a dropper post on their drop-bar bikes. For now, the riders will need to choose a mechanical shift liver in which there will be a slightly different experience. We can only hope that with wireless Fox transfer dropper post, it will be possible to pair the third button inside the hood.

The Shimano 1 × 12 GRX DI2 group is priced at $ 2,282, including the entire drivetrain (crank, deraelilur, shifters, cassettes and chains) plus hydraulic disc brakes and rotors.

In parallel with 1 × 12 GRX DI2 driving launch, Shimano is also adding the RX180 gravel wheysset to a 25mm-wide aluminum alloy rims, adding at a price of $ 280, for a pair.
