Sonam reportedly brought Raja to this remote location on a scooty under the pretense of sightseeing.Sources say that Sonam and the killers had already scouted the area — a deserted tourist spot, closed for over two years due to land disputes. CCTV visuals and eyewitnesses confirm that Raja had never met the killers before. They had befriended him just days before the incident.The group reached the cliff around 2 to 3 PM on May 23, and after a steep trek of over 400 steps, Raja was completely exhausted. It was then that the alleged crime took place — his body was later discovered in a deep gorge after a days-long search operation aided by drones. The site is now under tight police scrutiny as investigators plan a recreation of the crime scene.The case raises serious questions about Sonam’s planning, intent, and familiarity with the secluded spot.
