A Fire Fighter from Texas asked whether emergency flood alerts could be sent to the residents of Ker County about an hour before the first warning was received, showing the audio.

According to reports, some residents received an alert after an hour – it took up to six hours for others. When asked about the delay, Ker County Sheriff Larry Litha said that the officials were keeping a time -line together.
Later, Donald Trump is due to visiting Texas Hill Country, where floods have killed at least 120 people and more than 160 others are missing.
Prior to his visit, the US President expressed support for the flood alarm to be established in Texas.
He told NBC News that “After seeing this terrible incident, I think you will put an alarm in some form or the other, where the alarm goes up if they are any large amount of water or whatever”.
Trump also appreciated the emergency services, saying that “everyone is doing a great job”, and pointed to the fact that “local authorities were hitting it.”
The estimated 100bn gallon rain increased by the Gwadalup river several meters in a few minutes during the July 4 holiday weekend.
Ker County, including Kerville, absorbed the flaws of the latter flash flood, including the deaths confirmed by 96 – including 36 children – many of which were participating in a nearby Christian camp called Camp Mistic.
In the recording of a dispatch call of the fire fighter, the emergency respondent can be heard saying: “Gwadalup Shumacker sign is under water on the state highway 39.
“Is there any way that we can codes the residents of our prey, ask them to find high ground or stay at home?”
“Standing, we must approve with our supervisor,” the dispatcher replied.
The Texas News Room, which first reported on the audio, said that some residents received a coder alert after an hour after that.
The first alert ABC News’ affiliation was confirmed 05:34. The mayor of Kerville did not receive an alert for 90 minutes, he told the Texas Tribune.
Some messages did not come after 10:00, many news outlets told.
Asked about the possible delay in emergency communication on Wednesday, Sheriff Litha said that she was first reported around the “four to five areas” – and that “we are trying to make a time -line”.
“It’s going to take some time,” he told reporters at a news conference. “This is not my priority at this time.”
He said that he was focusing on detecting the missing and identifying the victims instead.
County officials say that they have not alive anyone from the day of floods.

He said, “It is extremely trustworthy, time is going to take. It’s dirty work. It is still water. So, we are going from layer to layer, to recover, peeling them,” he said.
