Some sources have claimed to invent Hamburger. Some people detect its origin for the Roman period, based on Isisia omentata, a dish of minced meat and spices and a patty and fried spices. Hamburger can also be a direct descendant of Hamburg Steak, minced beef Launched by migrants from Hamburg, Germany, brought to the US in the late 19th century. And Louis Lasen, Ka Louis lunchIn New Heaven, in Connecticut – more than a century old and still in operation – he is said to have created one of the first recurrence of the burger as we know it in 1900 today: a patty between two slices of bread.

You will find different types of frozen burgers in the freezer section of your grocery store, but which brands are the best? We put nine burgers through our latest taste test to find out.
How did we choose products
We comb through reddit threads, YouTube reviews and other tastes to determine the list of testing frozen burgers, to determine which brands should be in our list. We avoided refuses such as Bacon Burger, and kept the upgrade like frozen Vagu Burger. Instead, we clung to the classic beef burger which were widely available in the US, and were sold in the traditional size (no sliders -source, white cast fans!) To standardize our tests!
In addition to our selection of frozen burgers, we tried to see a couple of refrigerated burgers how they compared (you are always home?). Although we decided that they eventually fall into their category, we named a wildcard favorite.
How do we install our blind taste test
Before the arrival of our tasters in the test kitchen, we cooked each patty from frozen in a pan in a pan as per our package directions. When the patties were seasing and brown from both sides, we transferred them to a label sheet tray. After a little rest, we cut them into cutting pieces. Before discussing their properties (or defects), tastors gathered around the unknown burger to try a piece of each.
How our editors evaluated
Our tasters said that their criteria for a great frozen burger rests on the texture. They wanted a frozen burger to at least somewhat comparable to a handmade patty. Its texture should be laxly packed, not dense. The burger will also have to do juicy, some dry and cardboard, just this will not happen.
Although all our burgers were cooked on the stove and were frozen in the pan – we also stopped the people purchased in the refrigerated section overnight – our tasters expected a patty with a fresh, beef taste. The burgers should be well veteran, with a just-greild quality. There were no immediate marks of freezer burn or other off-flavors.
