BTS RM and V will not complete their military service on June 10, with no official ceremony plans.
BTS members RM and V have been officially discharged from the army on June 10 today. The pair, admitted on the same day in December 2023, will complete their service from various divisions located in Gangwon-D.
RM is serving in HWACHEON’s military band of the 15th Infantry Division, while V has been deployed in 2 Corps Military Police Special Duty Team (SDT) in Chunan. Despite the enthusiasm building among fans, Big Hit music confirmed that there would be no official incident to mark their discharge, citing safety and space concerns.
Big Hit Music on fan platform waves said, “Many soldiers are being discharged on the same day.” “No official program will be held, and there is a limited place at each place, which increases the risk of safety issues due to the crowd.”
RM, whose real name is Kim Naam-Joon, recently shared his expectation for civil life with a screenshot with a military service tracking app, which wrote, “Late Life, You have 7 days to discharge!” V (Kim Tae -Hug) also took on social media, posted an upside -down count in which read, “Sergeant. Elio D -9.”
Both RM and V have served diligently, identified quickly. He was selected as “Choi Jong-Ae Trainers” during the boot camp and was promoted to Sergeant before the schedule due to his conduct.
Their discharge will be followed by fellow members closely by Jimin and Jungkuk, who are expected to complete their military service on 11 June. Sugga, who is serving as a social service agent due to medical conditions, will be released on 21 June. The biggest member, the first was already listed and the group is expected to rebuild again.
To mark the first anniversary of Mark BTS, “2025 BTS Festa” will take place on 13 June at Kintax, Goyang. While the fan expectation is high, the agency has not yet confirmed whether all members will participate. On the same day, J-Hop, Goying Stadium will organize a special single encore performance, which will be involved in the mood to celebrate.
