Israel launched a military operation in Gaza in response to an unprecedented cross -border attack about 20 months ago, in which around 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.
One and four people, two of them were killed, were already captive in Gaza before the struggle.
So far, 199 hostages have been returned, 148 of them are alive, mostly through two temporary ceasefire deals with Hamas.
According to the Hamas-Interested Health Ministry of the region, at least 54,677 people have been killed in Gaza during the war.
Israel launched a total blockade on Gaza on 2 March and resumed his military aggressive against Hamas two weeks later, two months of Trus collapsed, during which 33 Israeli hostages and five Thai hostages were freed. Israel said he wanted to pressurize Hamas to leave the remaining hostages.
On May 19, the Israeli army began an extended aggressive which Netanyahu said that “take control of all areas” would see soldiers. Israel also partially reduced its blockade, allowing some food to allow some food in the area amid warnings from experts of a famine.
In the last three months, more than 4,400 people have allegedly killed in Gaza, while 640,000 others have again been displaced by Israeli’s ground operations and withdrawal orders.
Last week, the expectations of a new ceasefire deal faded, with Hamas and Israel on the terms of the latest American proposal.
Hamas said it was designed to release the bodies of 10 living hostages and 18 dead people, which was the number specified in the proposal of American envoy Steve Witcoff in exchange for the release of 60 days of Trus and Palestinian prisoners.
But the group also reiterated its demands for guarantee that the Trus would lead to a permanent ceasefire with a permanent ceasefire, and would lead to a complete Israeli return from Gaza, and resume unrestricted assistance delivery.
Israel denied Hamas’s statement, and Witcoff said it was completely unacceptable. But a Hamas official insisted that he had worked positively and responsible.
