Despite the fact that I have used almost every fuji, it was playing my first XE line of cameras. The X-E5 is a gorgeous, beautiful and classy-looking camera with sharp lines throughout the body, and button and a topual concave edge for some extra nature and a specific form. Camera construction seems incredibly solid. Dials and buttons are very clicked; Even the side door looks correct. Flip is strong on the screen, and it can also flip all around for some section. All those small details matters and feel premium at the camera, but unfortunately this camera is not sealed (something you will expect for this price).
The big new facility for XE is dedicated film simulation dial. We have seen other fuzens connecting them, but this was my time to use it for the first time. I rarely shift to the film simulation because I have something for my own, which I stick for 99 percent time. But dial makes these sims easy to save, and encouraged me to experiment much more than before.
When it comes to the video, you get up to 6.2k up to 30fps and up to 1080p up to 240fps. The X-E5F-Log and F-Logue can also film in 2 color locations, so there is a lot of latitude for post-processing, which will match well with other Fujifilm cameras. And there is also HLG HDR. Rolling shutter is not the greatest, although it is far from bad. But X-E5 should not have your primary video camera for two major reasons: Video mode takes a toll on this battery, and I have overheated it after 13 minutes of continuous filming.

As stated earlier, this Fuji is equipped with the same sensor we have seen for a few years. It is a 40MP BSI CMOS 5 sensor and is capable of creating some great pictures. It has been my favorite Fuji sensor since CMOS III. The photos are sharp, with great expansion, and the noise level is well managed. Anything above 2000 will break down slowly and look emotional and soft. This is the place where 7-stop ibis comes in and helps you keep the shutter open for a while, so also reduces your ISO.
I brought this camera with me on a trip to Mexico, as well as with a handful of lenses. The X-E5 proved to be a great journey camera. I loved the option to stick to my pancake 27 mm for an ultra-compact setup or a 16-55 mm zoom lens was brought for some versatility in a long day.
