The autotrader has unveiled its list of the best drivers in the world, pointing to all destinations that make for a luxurious road-trip-spot. The company shared in its findings, “We were eager to know which countries around the world are usually calm, happy and more agreed.”
To find out which spots are the best, the autotradder asked citizens with a lawful driver licensed in countries around the world that they answer many questions. In particular, questions asked the drivers how good they are to self-report, according to the statements of the Agribelity section of the Big 5 Personality Test, which measures personality symptoms, including kindness, sympathy and cooperation. The survey also asked the drivers if they ever “demonstrated uncontrolled driving behavior”. After collecting all the figures, the report calculated which drivers around the world “friendly” behind the wheel.
And, according to self-reported findings, UK is home to the best drivers of all.
The UK leads the ranking as a country with the most humble and agreed drivers, earning a friendly driving score of 35.40 of the 40 possible points, “the findings revealed. “British drivers are famous for an inherent sense of following and etiquette of road rules, such as indicating before and allowing others to be merged into traffic.”
Autotradder stated that the UK’s “widespread driving tests and emphasis on lane discipline” could also increase its favorable symptoms. “In addition, the cultural value around politics and a ‘calm’ attitude play a role in creating a nation with a super cooperative driving culture.”
Join the UK at the top of the list is Australia at number 2, which earned high marks for their own-back-back lifestyle. “Australians often demonstrate patience and tolerance, even during crowded hours.” Australia earned a overall score of 35.02.
