Huawei Pura is teasing 80 series Flagship phone For some time, and Leaks Pura points to a radical zoom camera system for 80 Ultra. Now, the company has actually announced the Pura 80 series.

Pura 80 Ultra stands out of another smartphone by offering a single zoom camera sensor for two sets of periscope lens (3.7x and 9.4x). In fact, the lesson behind the phone depicts it as a “switchable tele lens”. More especially, a prism moves between two lenses as required. It is different from Sony’s variable telephoto camera system, which sees the lens to achieve different levels of zoom.

Unlike Sony’s small 12MP variable telephoto system, Pura 80 Ultra provides 1/1.28-inch zoom camera sensor. Huawei did not clarify the resolution, but still says that it is the largest telephoto camera in the industry.

Ultra handset also offers an in -inch 50MP RYYB main camera, which is completed with a variable aperture system. Huawei says that the camera offers the highest moving range of the industry.

Otherwise, the phone also has a 5,700mAh battery, 100W wired charging and 80W wireless speed. The device is also equipped with Harmoni OS 5.1 platform, which does not support Android apps. There is no word on other glasses at the time of writing, though.

Huawei confirmed that Pura 80 Ultra 16GB/512GB starts with 9,999 yuan (~ $ 1,391) in China for the model. Meanwhile, the 16GB/1TB model costs 10,999 yuan (~ $ 1,530). The company usually launches its Pur Flagship in global markets soon after the domestic launch. Therefore, our fingers are crossed that Pur 80 Ultra, in particular, is available outside China.
