US President Donald Trump reiterated his threat to put tariffs on members on Friday BRIC Group of nations and said that if they are formed in a meaningful way, the group will end very quickly.
Trump said without naming the countries, “When I heard about this group from BRICS, six countries, I hit them very, very difficult. And if they actually become a meaningful way, it will end very quickly,” Trump said without naming the countries.
Trump also stated that he was committed to preserving the global status of the dollar as a reserved currency and pledged to allow the construction of a central bank digital currency in the US.
