The US military has joined Israel to launch a military strike against Iran, there has been a dramatic increase in years of efforts by the two countries to prevent Tehran from receiving nuclear weapons.
“We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz and Esfahan,” President Trump Truth wrote on social on Saturday,
“All the aircraft are now outside the Iran Air Space. A full payload of bombs was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All the aircraft are safely on their home.
Trump said in a later post that he would address the nation on ET at 10 am.
Saturday’s attack marks the first act of direct military partnership by the US in a rapidly growing struggle between Iran and Israel.
This included a strike on the heavy Fordo atomic site, according to Trump, which is located about 300 feet under a mountain, about 100 miles south of Tehran. This is such a step that Israel is advocating to take America out, given that it is powerful only in America “Bunker Buster” The bomb is capable of reaching the site. Known as GBU -57 MOP (large -scale ordered penetrator), the bomb can only be transported by a specific US Warplane, B -2 stealth bomber, due to its 30,000 pounds weight.
A turn point
The US carried out the strike despite Trump’s years of promises, so that the country could stop itself from confusing itself in another Middle East struggle. Nevertheless, Trump has also said that it is paramount that Iran is not allowed to get nuclear weapons.
Trump initially demanded a negotiation on a new nuclear deal with Iran-to change the Obama-era agreement which he left despite the clear compliance with Iran in 2018. But in the days after Israel’s initial strike, he could move rapidly in his opposition to Iran and attack our property in the region.
Trump “surrendered unconditional surrender to Iran!” And claimed on social media that in America “Iran has complete and total control of the sky.” In a different PostHe threatened the supreme leader Ayatolla Ali Khamenei, Saying The location of the Iranian leader was identified.
Trump wrote, “He is an easy goal, but there is safe – we’re not going out (kill!), At least not for now,” Trump wrote. “But we do not want missiles to be shot at citizens or American soldiers. Our patience is thin.”
Khamenei has reduced a potential American strike, stated A post At the beginning of this month on X that the US will enter the struggle “100% in its own barrier.”
He said, “America will be damaged, certainly irreplaceable if they enter this struggle military,” wrote,
A new phase of uncertainty
Trump has earlier rejected the possibility of American ground forces in Iran. Nevertheless, the American attack introduces a new phase of uncertainty in the struggle that began with dozens of Israeli aerial attacks against Iran earlier this month.
Israel considers Iran an existential threat and says that it is necessary to prevent the attack from receiving Tehran from receiving nuclear weapons. According to Israel, the attacks have strictly targeted military and nuclear facilities, but the Iranian government says they are already responsible for the death of more than 200 citizens.
Iran has responded to a barrage of missiles and drone attacks aimed at Israel. The Israeli army says that it has stopped many of those projects, but not all. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office says dozens have been killed, and hundreds have been injured.
Iran has long defended its nuclear program as a peaceful, but Netanyahu has argued that it raises risks not only for its nation, but also to America.
For its part, US Intelligence Community It is said that it believes that Iran suspended its nuclear weapon program in 2003 after the US invasion of Iraq. Tulsi Gabard, director of National Intelligence, recently retired that guidance as a march during the presence of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
But earlier this month, Trump denied Gabard, back from the G7 Summit in Canada, “I don’t care what he said. I think they think they [the Iranians] It was very close to it. ,
