Dehradun: The confusion about the panchayat elections in Uttarakhand is now completely over. After the removal of the High Court, the government has announced the new dates of elections. Saturday i.e. today, the government has issued a revised notification of panchayat elections and has decided the entire election process for the first and second phase.
According to the revised program of Uttarakhand Panchayat elections, enrollment for the first phase will be filled from July 2 to July 5, 2025. At the same time, the nomination papers will be examined from July 7 to July 9, while the process of withdrawal will be held from 10 and 11 July. After this, allotment of election symbols will be done for the first phase on July 14 and the second phase on 18 July. At the same time, the first phase of voting will be held on July 24 and the second phase will be held on July 28. The results will be announced on 31 July 2025 after the counting of panchayat elections.
Yesterday the High Court removed
Let us know that earlier on June 21, the program of panchayat elections was released, but on June 23, the High Court had stayed the entire election on the reservation dispute. After this, on June 27, the Division Bench of the High Court lifted the ban and directed the Election Commission to release a new program. Under the same, a revised notification has been issued for the panchayat elections.
