As the world reacted to the news US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilitiesInternational officials responded to a large extent with alarm and called for restraint – although some expressed praise.
Across the Middle East, reactions were from anxiety to condemnation. The Saudi government said it was following the events “with great concern”, and called for immediate diplomacy.
Governments of both Iraq and Qatar warned that the attack at risk of destabilizing the unstable region already. Pakistan also issued a statement condemning the strike and warning of “severe harmful implications” for a wider region.
Behind Iran’s colleagues and the regional screen, the reaction was more powerful. Yemen’s Hurti movement described the strike as “Careful” American Act in support of “The Zione Anti”. The group continued the protest, saying that the attack would only strengthen Iran’s commitment to its regional alliances.
Hamas, Palestinian terrorist group, which led on 7 October 2023, a deadly attack against Israel – and has received weapons and support from Iran – said that it condemned “fierce American aggression” as “direct threat to international peace and security” against Iran.
Applause in Israel
In Israel, the strike was seen as a long -time over -over -over -over -over -over -over -overflow step, described as a threat to existence.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Trump in an previous video message posted on Sunday morning and said the operation was “in full coordination” with the US forces.

Members of Israel’s political opposition supported the move by the Opposition head American Yare Laapid in the Parliament of Israel, dismissed the strike critics as “useful stupids”, which fail to see through “condemnable” like Iran. “President Trump and the US Army last night made the world a safe place,” Lapid wrote on X,
Measured response
The European response has been stopped so far, most of the governments adopting a cautious view in their response.
In the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister Kir was measured for the stormer strike but offered conditional support.
“Iran can never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons,” Starmer Said in a post on XAmerican action attempting to “reduce that threat”.
At the same time, he urged the return of diplomacy. “The position of the Middle East is unstable and stability in the region is a priority.”
French Foreign Minister, Jean-Noel Barrot, Said on social media On Sunday that his country said “with anxiety” about the US attacks, “emphasizing that France was not involved.
He said that France “urges the parties to urge the parties to show restraint to avoid any growth so that the struggle can expand.”
In Germany, Chancellor Frederick Merz called upon Iran to “start negotiations” with Israel and the United States.
Other global reactions – United Nations and Russia
United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Gutres condemned the use of force, calling the US strike “already a dangerous increase in an area on the edge”.
Guterres warned of “terrible consequences for civilians, regions and worlds”, and urged to de-size all sides.
The International Atomic Energy Agency – The United Nations Atomic Sentinel, which advocates nuclear power and opposed the nuclear weapon – said it would hold an emergency meeting on Monday “in the immediate situation in Iran.” This confirmed that there was no detective radiation and said that it would provide further assessment.
Russia said on Sunday that it strongly condemned the United States bombing of nuclear sites in Iran, calling the attacks “irresponsible” and “gross violation of international law”.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “It is already clear that a dangerous growth has begun, which is reducing regional and global security.”
Trump administration approach
President Trump decided to join Iran as a military and diplomatic success in Israel’s aggressive.
President Trump wrote on Satya Social Saturday, “We have completed our very successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz and Esfhan.”
In the post -House of comments, Trump said the objective of the attacks was “destroying Iran’s nuclear capacity” and said Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities were “completely and completely distracted.”
“Iran, threatening the Middle East, should now create peace. If they do not, the future attacks will be much more easier and very easy,” they warned.
